Collections of my designed and printed Christmas 2023 Gifts!

Collection: Christmas 2023 Gifts

Personal Project

A collection of personalized 3D-printed and surface-finished Christmas gifts! Self-taught myself how to properly sand down printed products, utilize primer for painting, and other post-processing methods in the 3D printing design cycle. All parts were printed with ABS plastic.

Prosthetic Arm Team
Bioprinting @ Berkeley

Project team under the club Bioprinting @ Berkeley where we have been conducting continuing research and rapid prototyping of a functional bionic arm using SolidWorks & other CAD programs.

This technical team is composed of folks from different engineering backgrounds (Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering), we are devoted to assembling a prosthetic arm to grab items, have full-finger mobility, and maybe even shake your hand. :)

IN PROGRESS: September 2023 - Present

The presentation slides from our final deliverable "FarmQuest" highlight the progress, functionality, user feedback, and limitations of our deliverable for Castlemont High School.

Fung Fellowship, Conservation + Innovation Track (2023-2024)
Fall 2023 Final Deliverable | "FarmQuest"

The Fung Fellowship at UC Berkeley's Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership centers on human-centered design principles to advance innovative solutions for biodiversity, environmental health, and conservation.

In collaboration with the Fung Fellowship 23-24 community partners: Civic Design Studio and Castlemont High School, our final team deliverable proposed printable educational activities to enhance student engagement and educational activities of biodiversity, conservation practices, and Indigenous land practices within Castlemont High School's farm.

As the hardware design lead, I focused on the 3D design and prototyping of the honeycomb-shaped housing, modeling in SolidWorks, and rapid prototyping with PLA plastic. Additionally, I designed the prototype's circuitry with TinkerCAD and electrical parts.

Engineering World Health's 2023 Virtual Engineering Exchange Program
UC Berkeley (USA) & University of Nairobi (Kenya)

A 6-week virtual innovation program with a cohort of undergraduate and graduate students from UC Berkeley and the University of Nairobi in Kenya. In this program, we learned about enhancing engineering solutions for low-resource environments through biomedical design, collaboration, ethics, and entrepreneurship.

Our team's final deliverable proposed enhancements to oxygen concentrators in low-resource environments through a durable, portable oxygen concentrator powered by solar energy, and modeling in SolidWorks.
